ततः पैतामहं वीरः सोऽस्त्रमस्त्रविदां वरः।संदधे सुमहत्तेजा: तं हरिप्रवरं प्रति।।।।
tataḥ paitāmahaṃ vīraḥ so 'stram astravidāṃ varaḥ | saṃdadhe sumahattejās taṃ haripravaraṃ prati ||
Then that radiant hero—best among those who know weapons—set in motion the Paitāmaha weapon, directing it against the foremost of monkeys.
