Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
द्रक्ष्यस्यद्वैव वैदेहि राघवं सहलक्ष्मणम्।व्यवसायसमायुक्तं विष्णुं दैत्यवधे यथा।।।।
drakṣyasy adyaiva vaidehi rāghavaṃ sahalakṣmaṇam |
vyavasāyasamāyuktaṃ viṣṇuṃ daityavadhe yathā ||
O Vaidehī, you will see Rāghava with Lakṣmaṇa this very day—steadfast in resolve, like Viṣṇu when he sets about the slaying of the demons.
"O Vaidehi! you will see Rama and Lakshmana making all out efforts like Lord Visnu to kill the demons.
