Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita
ततस्त्वद्गात्रशोभीनि रक्षसा ह्रियमाणया।यान्याभरणजालानि पातितानि महीतले।।5.35.37।।तानि सर्वाणि रामाय आनीय हरियूथपाः।संहृष्टा दर्शयामासुर्गतिं तु न विदुस्तव।।5.35.38।।
tatastvadgātraśobhīni rakṣasā hriyamāṇayā | yānyābharaṇajālāni pātitāni mahītale || tāni sarvāṇi rāmāya ānīya hariyūthapāḥ | saṃhṛṣṭā darśayāmāsur gatiṃ tu na vidus tava ||
Then, as you were being carried off by the demon, the many ornaments that adorned your limbs and fell upon the ground—those the leaders of the Vānara troops gathered and, rejoicing, brought and showed to Rāma; yet your whereabouts they did not know.
Dharma as diligent service: the Vānaras act responsibly by collecting and presenting evidence to aid the righteous search, even when full knowledge is unavailable.
Hanumān recounts how Sītā’s fallen ornaments were found and brought to Rāma, offering proof of the abduction though not revealing her location.
Collective devotion and initiative of the Vānara leaders—eagerness to help Rāma with whatever clues can be obtained.
