भरद्वाजाश्रमे भरतसैन्यस्य दिव्यात्मिथ्यम् / Divine Hospitality to Bharata’s Army at Bharadvaja’s Hermitage
वाप्यो मैरेयपूर्णाश्च मृष्टमांसचयैर्वृताः।प्रतप्तपिठरैश्चापि मार्गमायूरकौक्कुटैः।।।।
vāpyo maireyapūrṇāś ca mṛṣṭamāṃsacayair vṛtāḥ |
prataptapiṭharaiś cāpi mārga-mayūra-kaukkuṭaiḥ ||
Ponds were found filled with maireya liquor, and ringed with heaps of choice meats; there were also heated pots prepared with venison, peacock, and fowl.
Along the edge of the forest, wells were filled with thick payasam. There were wishfulfilling cows and honeydripping trees.
