सीताया वनानुगमननिश्चयः
Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest
पत्रं मूलं फलं यत्त्वमल्पं वा यदि वा बहु।दास्यसि स्वयमाहृत्य तन्मेऽमृतरसोपमम्।।2.30.15।।
patraṃ mūlaṃ phalaṃ yat tvam alpaṃ vā yadi vā bahu | dāsyasi svayam āhṛtya tan me 'mṛta-rasopamam || 2.30.15 ||
Whatever leaf, root, or fruit you yourself gather and give me—whether little or much—will be, for me, like nectar in taste.
Enjoying the seasonal flowers and fruits in the forest, I will not remember my mother or father or home.
