如灯至熄灭之时,燃尽而归于消融;如是,瑜伽行者焚尽一切业(karma),归于寂灭之消融,业流相续遂止。

Just as, at the time of extinction, a lamp—having burned—goes to dissolution, so the yogin, having burned up all actions, goes to dissolution (i.e., cessation of karmic continuity).

Karma-kṣaya and Moksha (burning of karma through knowledge/yoga)Mahavakya: Indirect: the ‘burning of karma’ is a preparatory/confirmatory motif for realization implied by mahāvākyas (e.g., ‘tat tvam asi’), where knowledge nullifies doership and thus karmic binding.AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
