The verse emphasizes bhakti expressed through stotra (hymns), humility through repeated prostrations, and sincere prayer to Jagadambikā—invoking the Mother’s grace (śakti) that supports the devotee’s purification and steadiness on the Shaiva path.
In Shaiva tradition, worship of Shiva is complete when Shiva and Shakti are honored together. Praying to Jagadambikā complements Saguna worship by approaching the Lord’s compassionate power (Shakti), which enables devotion, right practice, and the fruit of worship.
Recite multiple stotras to the Goddess, invite her presence into the home shrine (āvāhana/bhāva of welcoming), perform repeated pranāmas (prostrations), and conclude with a focused prayer (prārthanā) for protection, purity, and spiritual progress.
