This verse functions as a genealogical enumeration: it preserves sacred memory of dharmic lineages and virtues (radiance, steadfastness, purity) that, in Shaiva understanding, ultimately find their perfection when offered to Pati (Shiva), the Lord of all beings.
Though the verse lists names rather than prescribing worship, such lineages in the Shiva Purana typically frame the broader narrative where worldly order (dharma, rites, noble qualities) becomes meaningful when oriented toward Saguna Shiva—devotion to Shiva as the visible Lord who grants grace and liberation.
No explicit practice is stated; the implied takeaway is steadiness (dhṛti) and purity (śubhratā) in one’s daily discipline—supporting Shaiva sādhanā such as japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and worship performed with a clear, focused mind.
