首那迦说道:我已聆听你所宣说的伟大神圣传述——善那特库玛罗与迦勒耶之对话,能赐至上真义。
Shaunaka
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It frames the teaching as “paramārtha”—a liberating instruction aimed at the highest reality, preparing the listener for Shaiva insight into the Supreme (Pati) and the path to moksha.
By honoring a guru-to-seeker dialogue that yields the highest truth, it supports the Shiva Purana’s method: Saguna worship (including Linga-bhakti) as a doorway to realizing Shiva’s supreme principle.
The verse emphasizes śravaṇa (devout listening) to Shaiva teachings; as a takeaway, one may pair such listening with japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to internalize the paramārtha.
