tadā kṛte mahādeva pāpaṃ brahmavadhādikam | pāratantryaṃ na te śambho svairaṃ krīḍatyato bhavān
噢大天(Mahādeva),当那件事既成之时,罪业便生起,始于梵杀(brahma-hatyā,杀害婆罗门)等罪。然而,噢商布(Śambhu),于你并无束缚与依待;因此你以圆满主宰之力,自在游戏。

It teaches Shiva’s svatantrya (absolute freedom): karmic fault and bondage apply to bound souls (paśu), not to Pati (Shiva), who acts in līlā while remaining untouched by impurity.
Linga/Saguna worship trains the devotee to see Shiva as the transcendent Lord who is present in form yet never limited by form—so devotion matures into trust in Shiva’s sovereign grace beyond worldly judgments.
Contemplate Shiva as Pati beyond pasha while japa of the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” supported by Tripundra (bhasma) and Rudraksha, to internalize freedom from dependence and fear.
