难提湿伐罗说道:众伽那之首领既蒙商羯罗如是晓谕,皆齐声应诺曰:“愿如是成就。”随即前去聚集所需诸供具。
Nandishvara (Nandi)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga episode; the verse frames the gaṇa-leaders’ obedience to Śaṅkara’s command as part of a larger consecratory/celebratory rite for Nandin.
Significance: Models gaṇa-dharma (service to Śiva) and the Siddhāntic ideal of śivājñā-anusaraṇa (living by the Lord’s ordinance) as a means to receive anugraha.
It highlights gaṇa-dharma—devotional obedience to Śiva’s will—showing that spiritual progress in Shaiva tradition is supported by humble service, readiness, and coordinated sacred action under the Lord’s guidance.
By depicting Śiva (Śaṅkara) giving instructions and His attendants collecting worship-implements, it reflects Saguna devotion where the Lord is approached through concrete acts—preparation, offerings, and orderly ritual—often centered on Linga-pūjā.
The takeaway is pūrva-saṃbhāra (proper preparation): gather clean materials for worship, maintain discipline and purity, and perform japa (e.g., the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while preparing offerings as an act of seva.
