从湿婆本原(Śiva‑tattva)直至大地本身,又在诸身、诸罐及一切成形之物中,湿婆遍满一切,而仍安住为内在的主宰。因此他亦被称为“毗湿奴”——遍一切者。

It teaches that Śiva is both immanent and transcendent: He pervades every level of reality (from subtle tattvas to gross earth) and remains the indwelling Lord (Pati), guiding beings toward liberation.
Linga worship trains the mind to recognize the one Lord present in all forms. Though Śiva is beyond form, He is approached through the Saguna symbol (Liṅga) as the inner ruler who pervades every body and object.
Practice inward contemplation that the same Śiva dwells within as the controller (antar-yāmin), supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and steady dhyāna on Śiva’s all-pervading presence.
