Description of Śiva Meditation and Worship
सद्योजातम्प्रपद्यामीत्यारभ्योमन्तमुच्चरन् । आधारोत्थितनादं तु द्वादशग्रन्धिभेदतः
sadyojātamprapadyāmītyārabhyomantamuccaran | ādhārotthitanādaṃ tu dvādaśagrandhibhedataḥ
从咒语“我皈依萨德约阇多(Sadyojāta)”开始而诵持之,继而应观照自根本依处(ādhāra)升起的内在之音(nāda)。当此nāda穿透并分辨十二结(granthi)之时,即得其体验。
Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailāsa-saṃhitā’s yogic teaching to the sages)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Mantra: सद्योजातं प्रपद्यामि
Role: teaching
It presents a Shaiva yogic method: surrender to Śiva through mantra first, then inwardly follow the rising subtle sound (nāda) that carries awareness upward by loosening the granthis (binding knots) that keep the soul (paśu) tied by pāśa.
The mantra of Sadyojāta is a Saguna entry-point—devotional refuge in Śiva’s compassionate form—after which the practice turns inward to the subtle experience of nāda, leading the worshipper from form-based devotion toward inner realization supported by Śiva’s grace.
Japa of the Sadyojāta refuge-mantra followed by nāda-anusandhāna (meditation on inner sound) from the ādhāra, aiming at granthi-bheda—progressive release of inner knots through disciplined attention and devotion.
