प्रणवमहिमा — The Greatness of the Praṇava (Om) as Śiva

तस्माद्वेदादिरेवाहं प्रणवो मम वाचकः । वाचकत्वान्ममैषोऽपि वेदादिरिति कथ्यते

因此，唯我为诸吠陀之初；“普拉那瓦”（Praṇava，Oṃ）是指称我的圣音。正因它作为我的指称，这普拉那瓦也被称为“吠陀之初”。
