व्यासशौनकादिसंवादः | Vyāsa–Śaunaka and the Sages: Opening Dialogue of the Kailāsa-saṃhitā
तेषां भावं समालोक्य भगवान्बादरायणः । प्रादुर्बभूव सर्वात्मा पराशरतपःफलम्
teṣāṃ bhāvaṃ samālokya bhagavānbādarāyaṇaḥ | prādurbabhūva sarvātmā parāśaratapaḥphalam
见到那些求道者内在的心性趋向后,具福的婆陀罗耶那(Bādarāyaṇa)——一切众生之内在自性——便示现于世;他显现为帕罗沙罗(Parāśara)苦行之果。
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages, inferred from Purana dialogue convention in Kailasa Samhita)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It teaches that divine manifestation responds to sincere inner bhāva and tapas: when intention is ripe and purified, grace takes form through realized beings—here, Bādarāyaṇa appears as the mature fruit of Parāśara’s austerities.
By highlighting that the Sarvātmā (the indwelling Reality) can become accessible through a manifest form, it supports Saguna worship—such as Linga-upāsanā—as a compassionate means for seekers to approach the transcendent Shiva through tangible revelation.
Cultivate bhāva and tapas: steady japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), disciplined self-restraint, and daily Shiva-pūjā (including Tripuṇḍra/bhasma and Rudrākṣa where appropriate) to make the mind fit for grace to manifest.
