因陀罗胜利祈请:以赞歌召引因陀罗之战车与威力,作为勇健的善主(satpati)与灭死者(mṛtīṣaha),为祭仪赐助力、恩惠与胜利;并祈其摧毁障碍、护持祭献。继而忆念常生之火神阿耆尼,言其隐于草木与诸水之中而生,作为宇宙之支撑以成就供献。终以诸神同声的凯旋呼号(ghoṣa)推至高峰,使因陀罗—阿耆尼及诸天众(伐楼那、阿底提耶、摩卢特等)合力围护并征服,令祭主所求圆满。

अभि गोत्राणि सहसा गाहमानो ऽदयो वीरः शतमन्युरिन्द्रः दुश्च्यवनः पृतनाषाडयुध्यो3 ऽस्माकं सेना अवतु प्र युत्सु
以雄力攻向诸牛栏,猛然深入其中;不屈的英雄——百般威能的因陀罗,难以动摇,战阵的征服者,不可战胜者——愿他在交锋之先,护佑我等军旅,奋进于战。

इन्द्र आसां नेता बृहस्पतिर्दक्षिणा यज्ञः पुर एतु सोमः देवसेनानामभिभञ्जतीनां जयन्तीनां मरुतो यन्त्वग्रम्
因陀罗为此诸军之统领;布里哈斯帕提为其引导者;愿达克希那(Dakṣiṇā,祭礼之赠施)、祭祀与苏摩(Soma)行于前:在那得胜、破敌突进的天神军众之前,愿马鲁特(Maruts)走在最前锋。

इन्द्रस्य वृष्णो वरुणस्य राज्ञ आदित्यानां मरुतां शर्ध उग्रम् महामनसां भुवनच्यवानां घोषो देवानां जयतामुदस्थात्
天神之呼号腾起——属于雄壮的因陀罗、属于王者伐楼那、属于阿底提耶(Ādityas)、属于凶猛的马鲁特军团;属于大心志者、撼动诸界者、征服者(诸神)的胜利之声。
It is a victory-oriented invocation: the chant ‘turns’ or brings Indra’s chariot through praise, asking him to remove obstacles and secure aid and favour for the sacrifice.
Because Soma-ritual success depends on Agni as the ever-present ritual fire; recalling Agni’s latent, continual birth in nature reinforces that the rite is cosmically supported and continuously sustained.
It signifies triumphant, conquering resonance—both the mythic victory-cry of the deities and, liturgically, the heightened sonic power of the chant reaching its climactic point.
