'O monkey! you have already achieved your objective (with the help of Rama) but have not helped Rama in return. You are surely an ignoble and ungrateful liar.
Dharma here is responsiveness to rightful grievance: Sugrīva recognizes the seriousness of Lakṣmaṇa’s anger and immediately rises—signaling respect, accountability, and readiness to answer for delayed duty.
Lakṣmaṇa arrives furious on behalf of Rāma (whose mission to find Sītā is delayed). Sugrīva, sensing the gravity, leaps up from his throne.
Alertness and deference to righteous authority—Sugrīva’s immediate physical response reflects awareness of obligation and the need to rectify neglect.
