उद्योगस्तु चिराज्ञप्त स्सुग्रीवेण नरोत्तम।कामस्यापि विधेयेन तवार्थप्रतिसाधने।।।।
udyōgas tu cirājñaptaḥ sugrīvēṇa narōttama |
kāmasyāpi vidhēyēna tavārthapratisādhanē ||
最上之人啊,虽此刻受享乐所制,苏格利婆早已下令并发动努力,以成就你的目的。
'O best of men! although overpowered by sense pleasures, Sugriva has already initiated efforts for the accomplishment of your work.
Dharma in alliances is fidelity to one’s pledged task; even if personal weakness appears, the decisive measure is whether duty-bound action has been initiated and maintained.
Tārā reassures Lakṣmaṇa that Sugrīva has already begun arrangements to help Rāma, countering the charge of negligence.
