凭那弓弦之声,猴王苏格利瓦知晓其来临;惊惧之下,他从王座上猛然起身。
Then, sensing the arrival of Lakshmana, by the sound of his bow string, Sugriva the lord of vanaras, alighted at once from the throne.
Accountability to one’s pledged duty: Sugrīva’s fear reflects awareness that failing promised action (helping Rāma) brings moral and social consequence.
Lakṣmaṇa approaches Kishkindhā; Sugrīva infers the arrival from the bow’s sound and reacts anxiously.
Alertness and recognition of consequence—Sugrīva quickly understands the situation and responds without delay.
