Lakshmana’s Anger Reported; Hanuman Advises Propitiation and Timely Mobilization
When Sugriva spoke thus, Hanuman the great monkey, submitted in the presnce of the monkey-ministers, applying his own logic:
Dharma here is faithful compliance with rightful authority: one must not mentally dismiss the commands of the righteous, especially when bound by truth and obligation.
Hanumān warns Sugrīva that ignoring Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s directives is both morally wrong and practically dangerous, given Rāma’s extraordinary power.
Reverence for dharmic authority and disciplined loyalty to one’s commitments.
