महाभिषेकः
Sugriva’s Coronation and Angada’s Installation
अङ्गदे चाभिषिक्ते तु सानुक्रोशाः प्लवङ्गमाः।साधु साध्विति सुग्रीवं महात्मानोऽभ्यपूजयन्।।
aṅgade cābhiṣikte tu sānukrośāḥ plavaṅgamāḥ |
sādhu sādhv iti sugrīvaṃ mahātmāno 'bhyapūjayan ||
当安伽陀也受立之时,慈悲而高贵的猴族众人称颂并礼敬须伽利婆,一再喝彩道:“善哉!善哉!”
The great monkeys concerned hailed Sugriva's action saying, 'well done, well done' on the installation of Angada.
Dharma is just governance recognized by the community: installing Aṅgada is seen as a righteous act that balances power with compassion and continuity.
After Aṅgada’s installation, the vānaras publicly commend Sugrīva, indicating broad approval of his political and moral decision.
Sugrīva’s fairness and foresight—honoring Vāli’s line through Aṅgada and securing the realm’s future.
