yathā pratijñātam idaṃ narendra kṛtaṃ tvayā dṛṣṭaphalaṃ ca karma | mamādya bhogeṣu narendraputra mano nivṛttaṃ sahajīvitena ||

It affirms satya (keeping one’s promise) while also confronting the human cost of action—dharma includes accountability for visible consequences.
Tārā acknowledges that Rāma fulfilled his pledged act (Vāli’s slaying) but declares her own withdrawal from worldly enjoyment due to bereavement.
Rāma’s fidelity to promise (satya) is recognized; Tārā’s grief-driven detachment is foregrounded.
