समुद्यम्य महच्चापं रामः काञ्चनभूषितम्।शरांश्चादित्यसङ्काशान्गृहीत्वा रणसाधकान्।।
samudyamya mahac cāpaṃ rāmaḥ kāñcana-bhūṣitam | śarāṃś cāditya-saṅkāśān gṛhītvā raṇa-sādhakān ||
准备启程时,罗摩举起那张镶金的大弓,又取起如太阳般辉耀的箭矢——皆为战阵中制胜的利器。
Getting ready to go, Rama took up his great bow and arrows adorned with gold and potent in war looking (dazzling) like the Sun.
Kṣatriya-dharma: righteous action requires readiness and the responsible bearing of power—arms are taken up not for aggression but for protection and lawful purpose.
Rāma prepares to move forward, equipping himself with bow and arrows as events require decisive action.
Resolve (utsāha): calm preparedness to act when duty calls.
