परशुरामप्रादुर्भावः
The Appearance of Parasurama on the Return from Mithila
हिरण्यस्य सुवर्णस्य मुक्तानां विद्रुमस्य च।।।।ददौ परमसंहृष्ट: कन्याधनमनुत्तमम्।
hiraṇyasya suvarṇasya muktānāṃ vidrumasya ca |
dadau paramasaṃhṛṣṭaḥ kanyādhanaṃ anuttamam ||
他欢喜至极,又赐无与伦比的嫁妆:黄金、精美金饰、珍珠与珊瑚。
The saints having thus talked amongst themselves, offered arghya to the son of Bhargava, of dreadful appearance and addressed him in soothing words: "O Rama! O Rama!".
The verse presents wealth as an instrument of auspicious duty—given with joy in a sanctioned rite to support family continuity and social order.
Janaka completes the bridal gifts with precious items suitable to royal weddings.
Joyful generosity aligned with dharma (giving without resentment).
