With the necessary auspicious rites preparatory to marriage performed at an auspicious moment, Vijaya, and keeping Vasishta and other maharshis in the forefront, Rama accompanied by his brothers adorned with ornaments of every kind came into his father's presence.
Maryādā and dharma are enacted through proper rite, timing, and deference: the princes proceed under the guidance of sages and in the presence of their father, honoring social and spiritual order.
Wedding preparations are complete; at the appointed auspicious time, Rāma and his brothers formally approach Daśaratha, with Vasiṣṭha and other seers leading.
Rāma’s discipline and reverence—moving within prescribed ritual order and honoring elders and teachers.
