Nabhaga's son was Aja. Aja was the father of Dasaratha and Dasaratha, the father of Rama and Lakshmana.
Dharma is framed as continuity of righteous kingship: the verse emphasizes legitimate lineage and the inherited obligation to uphold truth and duty.
In Mithilā, the Ikṣvāku genealogy is being recited to establish Rāma’s and Lakṣmaṇa’s noble descent in the context of arranging marriage alliances.
Royal integrity and legitimacy—qualities implied by a clear, truthful account of descent (satya in genealogical testimony).
