ayodhyādhipate vīra vaideho mithilādhipaḥ || 1.70.13 || sa tvāṃ draṣṭuṃ vyavasitaḥ sopādhyāya-purohitam |
“阿踰陀之主、英勇的王啊,毗提诃的阇那迦——弥提罗之君——已决意拜见您,并同见您的师长与大祭司。”
"O Heroic lord of Ayodhya, Janaka, the lord of Mithila desires to see you along with preceptors and priest".
Dharma is upheld through honoring spiritual authority: the king is invited along with teachers and priest, reflecting that royal acts are guided by sacred counsel.
The envoy formally conveys Janaka’s wish to meet Daśaratha in Mithilā.
Diplomatic clarity and respectful address (satya and maryādā in speech).
