कुमारसम्भवः—गङ्गायां तेजोनिक्षेपः

तप्यमाने तपो देवे देवा: सर्षिगणा: पुरा।सेनापतिमभीप्सन्त: पितामहमुपागमन्।।1.37.1।।
tapyamāne tapo deve devāḥ sarṣigaṇāḥ purā | senāpatim abhīpsantaḥ pitāmaham upāgaman ||
古时，当主宰（伊湿伐罗）正行苦行之际，诸神与众仙圣（ṛṣi）一同前往毗多摩诃（梵天）处，希求一位天军统帅。
