कुशनाभकन्याशतविवाहः — The Marriage of Kuśanābha’s Hundred Daughters
and the Birth of Brahmadatta
स्पृष्टमात्रे तत: पाणौ विकुब्जा विगतज्वरा:।युक्ता: परमया लक्ष्म्या बभु: कन्याशतं तदा।।1.33.23।।ृ32
spṛṣṭamātre tataḥ pāṇau vikubjā vigatajvarāḥ |
yuktāḥ paramayā lakṣmyā babhūḥ kanyāśataṁ tadā ||1.33.23||
随后,仅以其手一触,那些曾弯曲者便离苦离热恼;当时那百位少女皆具无上吉祥之美。
Thereafter, with the mere touch of his hand, the hundred daughters were cured of their hump- back and freed from anguish. They assumed great beauty.
Dharma restores wholeness: rightful union and righteous influence are depicted as removing affliction and bringing auspiciousness.
At the marriage moment, the daughters are miraculously relieved of the deformity and suffering inflicted earlier.
Brahmadatta’s auspiciousness and beneficent presence—power that heals rather than harms.
