ऋष्यशृङ्गानयनम् — Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Bālakāṇḍa, Sarga 11
तत: प्रमुदितास्सर्वे दृष्ट्वा तं नागरा द्विजम्।प्रवेश्यमानं सत्कृत्य नरेन्द्रेणेन्द्रकर्मणा।।1.11.27।।
tataḥ pramuditāḥ sarve dṛṣṭvā taṁ nāgarā dvijam |
praveśyamānaṁ satkṛtya narendreṇendrakarmaṇā ||1.11.27||
于是,众城民见那位婆罗门在功业如因陀罗的王者恭敬护送下入城,皆欢喜踊跃。
The citizens were delighted to behold that brahmin entering the city duly honoured by the king who was equivalent to Indra in valiance৷৷
Social dharma includes rejoicing in and supporting the honouring of virtue; public morale rises when righteousness is respected.
The citizens witness R̥śyaśṛṅga’s honoured entry, led by Daśaratha, and they celebrate.
Daśaratha’s exemplary kingship—combining valour (Indra-like deeds) with reverence toward sanctity.
