罗摩在百姓与父王陀沙罗陀远远随行之下,抵达恒河圣岸的室陵伽毗罗城时,便遣返了车夫。
The citizens and Dasaratha followed Rama for a long distance. Rama of righteous nature having approached Guha, king of nishadas, at Shrungiberapura sent back charioteer Sumantra and Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana crossed river Ganga.
Dharma here is steadfastness in a chosen righteous course: Rāma proceeds with exile-duty while ensuring others (like the charioteer) are released from further hardship.
At the Gaṅgā near Śṛṅgiberapura, after being escorted far by the people and Daśaratha, Rāma dismisses the charioteer and continues onward.
Rāma’s considerate restraint and duty-minded resolve—firm in purpose yet attentive to others’ wellbeing.
