येन त्वं व्यवसायेन बलान्मां हर्तुमिच्छसि।।3.53.14।।व्यवसायस्स ते नीच भविष्यति निरर्थकः।
yena tvaṃ vyavasāyena balān māṃ hartum icchasi |
vyavasāyas sa te nīca bhaviṣyati nirarthakaḥ || 3.53.14 ||
无论你用何等计谋想以强力掳走我——卑劣之徒——你那番作为终将徒劳无功。
O vile creature, the effort you are making to abduct me forcibly will be fruitless.
Unrighteous means cannot yield righteous ends; adharma is inherently self-defeating. Sītā asserts that coercion will not ultimately succeed.
Sītā condemns Rāvaṇa’s forced abduction attempt and predicts its failure.
Inner firmness (dhṛti): Sītā refuses to accept the abductor’s power as final and speaks with conviction.
