अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनत्रिंशः सर्गः
Sarga 29: Rama’s Admonition to Khara and the Shattering of the Mace
उद्वेजनीयो भूतानां नृशंसः पापकर्मकृत्।त्रयाणामपि लोकानामीश्वरोऽपि न तिष्ठति।।।।
udvejanīyo bhūtānāṃ nṛśaṃsaḥ pāpakarmakṛt | trayāṇām api lokānām īśvaro ’pi na tiṣṭhati ||
凡残忍作恶、以罪业为行、令众生惊惧者，终不得久住——纵使他是三界之主亦然。
Indeed, (it is strange that) you do not see me holding a mace and standing here like an unshakeable mountain which contains minerals and supports the earth.
