The Battle with Khara’s Host at the Hermitage
ते वलाहसङ्काशा महानादा महौजसः।अभ्यधावन्त काकुत्स्थं रथैर्वाजिभिरेव च।।।।गजैः पर्वतकूटाभै रामं युद्धे जिघांसवः।
te valāhasaṅkāśā mahānādā mahaujasaḥ |
abhyadhāvanta kākutsthaṃ rathair vājibhir eva ca ||
gajaiḥ parvatakūṭābhai rāmaṃ yuddhe jighāṃsavaḥ |
那些威猛的罗刹,吼声如雷云轰鸣,怀着在战斗中杀死迦拘多斯陀(罗摩)之意,乘战车、策骏马,并驱使如山峰般的巨象冲来。
Overtaken by anger, the demons continuously hurled at Rama hammers, spears, spikes, barbed missiles, swords and battle-axes.
