Transliteration

niyogāt tu narendrasya pitur mātuś ca yantritaḥ | dharmārthaṃ dharmakāṅkṣī ca vanaṃ vastum ihāgataḥ ||

Translation

因国王——我父亲——以及我母亲之命所迫，我不得不从；又因渴望为护持正法而行正法，我来到此处，居住于林中。
