Reassuring the Kuru Soldiers; Proclaiming Victory
मेदोवसासूृक्प्रवहां महा भयविवर्धिनीम् । रौद्ररूपां महाभीमां श्वापदैरभिनादिताम्,मेदा, चर्बी तथा रुधिरको बहानेवाली वह नदी महान् भयको बढ़ानेवाली थी। उसकी स्थिति बड़ी भीषण थी। उस रौद्ररूपा नदीके तटपर (रक्तभोजी) हिंसक जन्तु कोलाहल कर रहे थे

毗湿摩波罗耶那说道：那里流淌着一条夹带脂肪、骨髓与鲜血的河——它极大地增添了恐惧。其形相狰狞，骇人至极；河岸回荡着食肉猛兽的嚎叫。此景凸显暴力的道德骇怖：当战争与屠戮横行，连大地景象也被想象为化作阿达摩与苦难的阴森证词。
