Adhyāya 61: Saṃmohana-astra and the Kuru Withdrawal (संमोहनास्त्रं तथा कुरुनिवृत्तिः)
तौ हताश्वौ विभिन्नाज्ै धृतराष्ट्रात्मजावुभौ । अभिपत्य रथैरन्यैरपनीतौ पदानुगै:,घोड़ोंके मारे जाने और शरीरके बिंध जानेपर उन दोनों धृतराष्ट्रकुमारोंक पास उनके सेवक आ पहुँचे और उन्हें दूसरे रथपर डालकर अन्यत्र हटा ले गये
tau hatāśvau vibhinnājai dhṛtarāṣṭrātmajāv ubhau | abhipatya rathair anyair apanītau padānugaiḥ ||
毗湿摩耶那说:当他们的战马被杀、身躯又被箭矢洞穿之时,那两位持国之子立刻被随从冲上前护住;随从们牵来别的战车,将他们扶起载走,移离原处——在战场严酷的逼迫之下,仍显出忠诚侍从之举。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in warfare, duty expresses itself through steadfast service: attendants protect and evacuate wounded leaders, showing loyalty and responsibility amid violence.
Two sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, left without horses and wounded, are approached by their foot-attendants, who bring other chariots and remove them from danger.
