इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत तीर्थयात्रापर्वमें धौम्यकी तीर्थयात्राविषयक छियासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata-vanaparva-ke antargata tīrthayātrāparva-meṃ dhaumya-kī tīrthayātrā-viṣayakaḥ chiyāsīvāṃ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

毗舍婆耶那说道：“至此，《圣摩诃婆罗多》林居篇（Vana Parva）中《圣地巡礼篇》（Tīrthayātrā）所载、叙述道弥耶（Dhaumya）朝圣之行的第八十六章宣告终了。此结语（章末题记）标示一段圣行旅叙事的完成，并将朝圣置于守持法（dharma）的严整修行之中：净化其志，砥砺其德，于艰难之际更坚其伦理之决心。”
