Sacred places are approached not merely by travel but by disciplined conduct: initiation, regulated vows, and rule-bound observance (niyama) are presented as the ethical means by which worship becomes fruitful.
The speaker directs the listener—addressed as a knower of dharma—to proceed to the tīrtha named Dīrghasatra, describing it as a divine and sage-inhabited place where consecrated vow-keepers perform worship and long sacrificial observances.
