निरुच्छवासो5 भवच्चैव संनिरुद्धों महात्मना । पपात भूम्यां निश्चेष्टो गतसत्त्व इवाभवत्,महात्मा भगवान् शंकरके द्वारा भलीभाँति नियन्त्रित हो जानेके कारण अर्जुनकी श्वासक्रिया बंद हो गयी। वे निष्प्राणकी भाँति चेष्टाहीन होकर पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े
nirucchvāso 'bhavac caiva saṁniruddho mahātmanā | papāta bhūmyāṁ niśceṣṭo gatasattva ivābhavat ||
他被那位大心者彻底制住,竟至气息断绝。阿周那倒落于地,毫无动静,宛如生命之力已然离体。
किरयात उवाच
Human prowess is limited; when confronted by a higher divine agency, ethical strength lies in restraint, humility, and recognizing the proper hierarchy of power (dharma) rather than persisting in ego-driven struggle.
In the Kirāta episode, the speaker describes the hero being completely checked by a great being; his breathing stops, he collapses to the earth, and lies motionless as if lifeless—signaling the overwhelming superiority of the divine opponent and setting the stage for recognition and transformation.
