सुमुहूर्त तु तद् युद्धमभभवल्लोमहर्षणम् | भुजप्रहारसंयुक्तं वृत्रवासवयोरिव,वृत्रासुर और इन्द्रके समान उन दोनोंका वह रोमांचकारी बाहुयुद्ध दो घड़ीतक चलता रहा
sumuhūrtaṃ tu tad yuddham abhavat lomaharṣaṇam | bhujaprahārasaṃyuktaṃ vṛtrāvāsavayor iva ||
片刻之间，那场搏斗令人毛骨悚然、热血沸腾：两人以强健臂力互换重击，宛如弗栗陀罗与婆娑婆（因陀罗）那场著名的争战。叙述借神话比拟，凸显近身战中的勇烈与耐力，并暗示史诗之战可因传说回响而具宇宙般的规模与道德分量。
