भवतत्ष प्रशंसाभिनििन्दाभिरितरस्य च । कथायुक्ता: परिषद: पृथग् राजन् समागता:,“राजन्! साधारण लोग भिन्न-भिन्न सभाओंमें सम्मिलित होकर अथवा अलग-अलग समूह-के-समूह इकट्ठे होकर आपकी प्रशंसा और दुर्योधनकी निन्दासे ही सम्बन्ध रखनेवाली बातें करते हैं
bhavatāṃ ca praśaṃsābhiḥ nindābhiḥ itarasya ca | kathāyuktāḥ pariṣadaḥ pṛthak rājan samāgatāḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：“大王啊，各处分别聚集起不同的集会；他们的谈论尽是称颂陛下，并责难那另一位（陛下的对手）。”
