त॑ दृष्टवा निहतं संख्ये प्रहस्तं क्षणदाचरम् । अभिद॒द्राव धूम्राक्षो वेगेन महता कपीन्,निशाचर प्रहस्तको युद्धमें मारा गया देख धूम्राक्ष बड़े वेगसे वानरोंकी ओर दौड़ा
taṁ dṛṣṭvā nihataṁ saṅkhye prahastaṁ kṣaṇadācaram | abhidudrāva dhūmrākṣo vegena mahatā kapīn ||
马尔坎德耶说道:见夜行罗刹普罗诃斯塔在乱战中被诛,杜姆罗阿克沙挟狂怒与疾速,径直冲向众婆那罗。此景昭示:一位首领的陨落会点燃报复之暴烈,使嗔恨与战争的循环愈加紧缠。
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
