Sāvitrī’s Trirātra-Vrata and Departure with Satyavān (सावित्रीव्रतनिश्चयः सहगमनं च)
ity uktvāntarhito divyaḥ puruṣaḥ sa mahāprabhaḥ | vismayaṃ jagmatuś ca ubhau pravīrau rāma-lakṣmaṇau ||

The verse highlights the fleeting nature of divine manifestations: the divine may appear to instruct or affirm dharma and then withdraw, leaving the virtuous with reverent wonder and strengthened moral clarity rather than attachment to spectacle.
After speaking, a radiant divine being vanishes. Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, both renowned heroes, are left astonished by the vision and the conversation they have just experienced.
