Sāvitrī’s Trirātra-Vrata and Departure with Satyavān (सावित्रीव्रतनिश्चयः सहगमनं च)
यदृच्छयाथ तद् रक्ष: करे जग्राह लक्ष्मणम् | विषादमगमत् सद्यः सौमित्रिरथ भारत,वह एक राक्षस था। उसने सहसा आकर लक्ष्मणका एक हाथ पकड़ लिया। भारत! यह देख सुमित्रानन्दन लक्ष्मण तत्काल बहुत दुःखी हो गये
yadṛcchayātha tad rakṣaḥ kare jagrāha lakṣmaṇam | viṣādam agamat sadyaḥ saumitrir atha bhārata ||
马尔坎德耶说道:“随后,恰逢其时,那罗刹一把抓住了罗什曼那的手。噢,婆罗多啊,见此情形,苏弥特丽之子苏弥特利(罗什曼那)立刻被深重的忧苦所压倒。”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights how sudden, unforeseen danger can shake even the strong, and it implicitly points to the dharmic need for vigilance, self-control, and reliance on right action when confronted by hostile forces.
A rākṣasa suddenly grabs Lakṣmaṇa by the hand; witnessing this abrupt assault, Lakṣmaṇa (Saumitri) is immediately plunged into distress, setting up the next actions in the encounter.
