Transliteration

Vasiṣṭha-vāmadevābhyāṁ vipraiḥ anyaiḥ sahasraśaḥ | paura-jānapadaiḥ sārthaṁ Rāmānayana-kāṅkṣayā ||

Translation

马尔坎德耶说道：他与婆悉吒、婆摩提婆同往，又率领千余婆罗门，并携城中百姓与乡野居民同行——皆因渴望迎回罗摩而启程。
