इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि द्रौपदीहरणपर्वणि दुर्वासउपाख्याने द्विषष्ट्यधिकद्धिशततमो<5ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi draupadīharaṇaparvaṇi durvāsopākhyāne dviṣaṣṭyadhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
至此,在《圣摩诃婆罗多》“林居篇”(Vana Parva)之中——尤指关于德罗帕蒂被掳未遂之段——杜尔瓦萨事迹的本章,即第二百六十二章告终。此章末题记标示一段叙事单元的收束,并凸显其伦理旨趣:克制、待客之法(atithi-dharma),以及在流亡与困厄之中仍护佑弱者。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
As a colophon, the verse chiefly teaches how the epic frames moral instruction through clearly bounded episodes: it highlights that the Durvāsā narrative is to be read within the ethical concerns of exile—especially dharma expressed as self-control, proper conduct toward guests, and safeguarding Draupadī from harm.
This line is not a spoken action-verse but an editorial/narrative closure: it announces the end of the Durvāsā episode within the Draupadī-haraṇa section of the Vana Parva and identifies the chapter count (262nd) for that unit.
