चित्रसेनश्व॒ भीमश्षु सव्यसाची यमावपि । पृष्टवा कौशलमन्योन्यं रथेष्वेवावतस्थिरे,तत्पश्चात् गन्धर्वराज चित्रसेन, भीमसेन, अर्जुन और नकुल-सहदेव सब लोग परस्पर कुशल-समाचार पूछकर अपने रथोंमें ही बैठे रहे
citraseṇaś ca bhīmaś ca savyasācī yamāv api | pṛṣṭvā kauśalam anyonyaṁ ratheṣv evāvatasthire ||
毗湿摩耶那说：随后，奇多罗塞那、毗摩、能左右开弓的阿周那，以及那对孪生兄弟（那俱罗与萨诃提婆）彼此问候安康；行毕和礼，他们仍端坐于各自战车之上。此刻彰显了克制与相互敬重：纵在紧张对峙之中，合乎礼法的问安与关怀，亦可作为遵循法（dharma）的序曲，先于一切后续行动。
