ततः सुतुमुलं युद्ध गन्धर्वाणां तरस्विनाम् । बभूव भीमवेगानां पाण्डवानां च भारत
tataḥ sutumulaṃ yuddhaṃ gandharvāṇāṃ tarasvinām | babhūva bhīmavegānāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca bhārata ||
于是，骁勇的乾闼婆与般度五子之间爆发了极其喧腾惨烈的大战；般度诸子冲击之势如毗摩之猛——噢，婆罗多。此番交锋被描绘为一股压倒性的力量洪潮，在骤起的冲突中凸显勇武与克制之间的道德张力。
