अभेद्यानि ततः सर्वे समनहान्त भारत | जाम्बूनदविचित्राणि कवचानि महारथा:,भारत! तदनन्तर उन समस्त महारथियोंने जाम्बूनद नामक सुवर्णसे विभूषित एवं विचित्र शोभा धारण करनेवाले अभेद्य कवच धारण किये
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
abhedyāni tataḥ sarve samanahānta bhārata |
jāmbūnadavicitrāṇi kavacāni mahārathāḥ ||
毗湿摩衍那曰：婆罗多啊！其后，诸大车战士尽皆整装，披上不可穿透之甲，纹饰瑰丽、色彩斑斓，并以阎浮那陀金（Jāmbūnada）为饰。此景凸显临战之前有条不紊的筹备与纪律：外在的华采与战争的沉重决意相并而行。
